how our journey started

Our journey started off in February of 2025, when our team visited the Deutsche Meisterschaften (Germany STEM racing nationals). During the competition we got a good idea of what we have to achieve.

our first steps

Our first steps for setting up our team were to think of a name and logo. Vivienne had a lot of great vague ideas for potential logos that our team then refined until we got a final version on paper that we then digitalized.

We also worked on further organizational tasks such as managing our expenses, writing emails to sponsors, making the first sketches for our car, and creating our Instagram account and website.

During the Whitsun holidays we had a team meeting during which we further worked on the car design and our goals and set some deadlines for everyone's tasks. Our engineers started to familiarize themselves with the CAD software and started testing it out.

our schools summer festival

During our school's summer festival, we presented our team to the school to spread the word about our team more and hopefully inspire more people to support us. We created an informative dual-language poster, created our first portfolio, and 3D printed our first model.

our first Prototype

During the summer holiday our engineer developed the first version of our car. We printed the prototype and are currently waiting for the wheels and CO₂ canister to arrive so that we can test it on a track.

our schools Winter Festival

At our school’s winter festival, our STEM Racing Team had the chance to share our journey and show what we’ve been working on throughout the season. We introducing our younger students to engineering, teamwork, and racing by letting them see our car, designs, and prototypes up close. Seeing their curiosity and excitement reminded us why we started this journey in the first place.

Our goals

Our plans for the next few weeks are to continue getting support for our team and develop our car in more detail. We have printed our first two prototypes and hopefully get to test it in a few weeks. Ultimately we strive to be able to participate in the regional championship in February 2026.
